What we have been working on
In CLINSH, public and private partners from four European countries have worked together to improve air quality in urban areas along waterways. Through real-time measurements on board and at shore we have demonstrated the effectiveness of emission reducing techniques and alternative fuels on a fleet of more than forty participating ships in real life conditions. CLINSH has also demonstrated the benefits of and experiences with the use of onshore power supply.

At our final conference we will share the results and present recommendations for the most effective ways to reduce harmful emissions in inland shipping and ‘green’ the fleet as important steps in the transition towards the Clean Air and Green Deal goals.
