Tender for the monitoring equipment has started (Tender 2)

On 27th March the European public tender for the monitoring equipment and the reference measurements started and can be found on the CTM-platform.

This monitoring will take place on thirty vessels:

a) 15 vessels which will be fitted (by the owner) with an emissions-reducing technology or adapted to run on an alternative fuel during the demonstration project. The technologies to be tested are SCR-DPF, Fuel Water Emulsion, hybrid installations, Liquefied Natural Gas and Gas to Liquid Fuel

b) 15 vessels which already have an emissions-reducing technology fitted or which run on an alternative fuel.

For these vessels monitoring equipment is required that will continuously (24/7) monitor for a period of at least two (2) years and three (3) months. Additionally, the participating vessels in the CLINSH project are required to keep using the measurement equipment used during the project for another period of five (5) years.  Also during the CLINSH project discontinuous measurement of PM, NOx and O2 have to be performed on the vessels participating in the project. The already remodelled vessels will be measured twice, the vessels that are remodelled during CLINSH are measured three times.

The tender period closes on 19th May 2017 at 12 noon.
